Losin it - week 3

OK. I'll admit it. I'm a slacker. Put it off on Saturday. Didn't do it Sunday. I'm finally on it today. I'm holding even from last time. I did really well this week until Thursday. We went out with friends to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Ate too much. Then needed sweets. Dairy Queen and a med choc dipped cone. Saturday did great until after dinner and needed Dunkin Donuts. Oooh so good! Sunday, didn't do bad, but had pizza for dinner. I. Am. Bad. So, hitting the gym at 4:00 today if anyone wants to join me. Cardinal on Howell. How'd you do???

Didn't loose any pounds this past week! I made poor eating choices - cheese burger and fries from Kopp's, custard, and pizza.Yikes! I am back on it now. I did well with exercise. I didn’t miss any days. I am starting to see some changes even though they are SLOW. I am upping the exercise in addition to my regular routine. I bought an Adams trail-a-bike to attach to my tandem bike (wow I have a Limo size bike). Now the girls and I are riding to the gym and to Gymnastics lessons. Wow those hills hurt. I am also reading Joyce Meyer's book on health to get my mind wrapped around having a healthy lifestyle. I am trying to get away from the diet - fall off the program cycle.

I am glad I am not the only one that was bad. :)

Well, all I can say is that it is a new week. I indulged pretty much all of my recent cravings, but did maintain my previous loss of 2 lbs. I honestly don't know how...18 more to go.

Not great this week. +1 from the start. But I have been running, which is good. I'll take it. I'm doing an 8 k training schedule. Tonight I did 2.5 miles. I have two more 3 mile runs for the week.

Cardinal at 8 pm tomorrow night if anyone wants to cruise the treadmill with me.

Hey folks. Sorry about this being my only update so far. Not-As-Big Frank is minus 10 from the start. Currently tipping the scales at 222.

Things that are working...

Reduction of portion sizes.

Remembering that I actually like vegetables.

Reminding myself that eating actually costs money.

Specifically I've been eating a granola bar when hungry, instead of say... a quick stop at popeyes for chicken strips at the airport.

Here's what's bad news for everyone else. I'm going to seriously ramp up the running for the remainder of the challenge. Good luck to everyone else so far! I can't wait to see what our total loss is at the end.
